The famous Kahn foundation Blackcap who is the breed's only cow with five active sons serving in major A.I. organizations including the Select Sires bull GAR Pinnacle; the ABS Global sire, GAR Paramount; the Accelerated Genetics sire, GAR Everest 9409; the Genex CRI sire, Brown-Gardiner Summit; and the Semex/Genetic Horizons sire, RAB-GAR Peak 4509H.
The progeny of this great cow and that of her daughter, GAR Precision 706, anchored the Blackcap family which headlines the 2002 Kahn Cattle Company Angus Sale where they totaled $225,000 in sales in just one day, with each female generating nearly $500,000 each in progeny sales to date.
This highly proven female records a progeny IMF ratio of 106 and a progeny ultrasound rib eye ratio of 101 on a total of 59 head among strong contemporaries along with progeny weaning and yearling ratios of 126 and 118, respectively, on her first natural calf in the AHIR program to rank her in the top three percent among current dams for IMF EPD, in the top five percent for each IMF EPD, Milk EPD and Yearling Weight EPD, and in the top three percent for Weaning Weight EPD.

The Pathfinder Dam of this cow was the top-selling Lot 1 cow of the 2002 A Plus Angus Sale where she sold for $40,000 at fifteen years of age to Callaway Angus of Georgia and her other progeny include the NER Farms and Sandpoint donor GAR EXT 2104 who was the top-selling female of the 2001 Gardiner Angus Sale and is best known as the dam of the famous GAR Precision 2536.
